Questions:

How long have you been drag racing? 16 years

How did you get your start? Racing with my dad.

What’s been the biggest challenge to your racing program this season? This season will be my first with a car with a power adder, something new to me.

Compared to last season? Ran Pro Stock in NHRA in 2001, took 2002 off.

What would you consider your biggest accomplishments as a racer? Winning an IHRA National event, and qualifying in NHRA and winning my first round of competition in NHRA.

What’s gotten you hooked on the Mustang drag racing scene? Becoming involved with the guys at ASSC Racing.

What are your plans for the future? To win races in FFW and NMRA and the championship in FFW as well.

What changes, if any, do you feel the sanctioning bodies need to make in order for our sport to prosper? There is a great need for TV coverage, and parity among the classes.

Who are your biggest friends (or enemies) at the track? I don’t have enemies at the track, I hope to make new friends racing with the guys at ASSC.

Who do you fear having to see at the starting line? NO ONE!

What would you tell someone looking to start out in the heads-up racing scene?  Never give up, do what ever it takes to be involved in racing at any level.

Very briefly, tell us the dumbest mistake you’ve ever made at a racetrack.  I generally don’t make mistakes, I plan and think things out too much to screw up.

Anyone you’d like to thank, wives you HAVE to thank, other things not mentioned you feel are important? My parents who helped my career prosper in racing. And my wife for understanding why I love racing like I do.

What music do you listen to? Rock, Alternative

Do you have any pets? A dog, she is a pug named Cleo

Kids? My daughter Jessica is 13 months old.

What do you like to do as a hobby outside of drag racing? Nothing, Racing takes up all my time.

What track do you dislike the most? Atlanta, the pits are the worst.

Which is your favorite track to race on? Pomona, CA.

Do you have a lucky charm? NO

If you could meet anybody you wanted living or not who would it be? Why?  My grandfather, because I heard such great things about him and I never met him, he died when my dad was 17.
