Questions

How long have you been drag racing?  I started in 1996 - 7 years

How did you get your start?  I started with a street car that I raced on the street.  I got in some trouble so I took it to the track and bracket raced for 2 years.

What’s been the biggest challenge to your racing program this season?  Compared to last season?  Last year our car was very out dated so we just ran the best we could.  This year with the new car things went well we just didn't have the test time we needed to get the car consistent, but we ran fast and learned some things for next year

What would you consider your biggest accomplishments as a racer?  Winning the FFW Pro 5.0 Championship

What’s gotten you hooked on the Mustang drag racing scene?  The competitiveness of the racers and just having a good time away from reality with my friends

What are your plans for the future?  To keep racing as long as I can

What changes, if any, do you feel the sanctioning bodies need to make in order for our sport to prosper?  Promote the races and racers more and keep parity between the power adders

Who are your biggest friends (or enemies) at the track?  I have no enemies that I know of.  I have friends in just about every class.  I go to race and have a good time.

Who do you fear having to see at the starting line?  Why?  I fear myself, because when I'm at the starting line that's the only person I worry about, at that point you stand alone.

What would you tell someone looking to start out in the heads-up racing scene?  Forget doing anything else but work and race, and bring your money

Very briefly, tell me the dumbest mistake you've ever made at the race track?  Well I'm not sure what I've done at the track. At home one night late when my dad and I first started bracket racing I hooked the battery up backwards and fried my Ignition box.

Anyone you’d like to thank, wives you HAVE to thank, other things not mentioned you feel are important?  My dad for being there always no matter what, my wife Jennifer for supporting me most always, Charlie and Chris in the early years, Jason Fields, Scott, Kevin, Chuck, Joe, Mike, Clayton, Chip, Jim, and everyone else that was there

What music do you listen to?  Who’s your favorite?  Country and Rock. My favorite band is Metallica

Any nick names for you?  Just my last name.. I don't know why

Do you have any pets?  3 Dogs

Do you have Kids?  None

What do you like to do as a hobby outside of drag racing?  Watch College football

What track do you dislike the most?  Orlando Speed World

Which is your favorite track to race on?  Norwalk, Ohio

Do you have a lucky charm?  What is it?  No

If you could meet anybody you wanted living or not who would it be?  Why?  Jesus, just because of who he was..

Additional Comments:  As any other racers, we are always looking for help and sponsorship of any kind.
