Questions

How long have you been drag racing?  About 8 years

How did you get your start?  I had all my stereo stuff stolen out of my 87 GT and being depressed, my girl friend at the time took me to see her uncle bracket race at a FFW race.

What’s been the biggest challenge to your racing program this season?  Compared to last season?  Getting the clutch right, with an NOS car the clutch came so much easier

What would you consider your biggest accomplishments as a racer?  The first eight second Renegade pass

What’s gotten you hooked on the Mustang drag racing scene?  The people; It does not matter where you race, what the rules are (lets face it this is sportsman racing) if you are not having fun it is not worth it!!

What are your plans for the future?  Unknown??? I will race some thing some where

What changes, if any, do you feel the sanctioning bodies need to make in order for our sport to prosper?  That is another can of worms

Who are your biggest friends (or enemies) at the track?  I get along with a lot of people in every class, but for the most part, I would say that me and Manny Geno have a lot in common with the same goals but when it comes down to it on Sunday he is my biggest threat.

Who do you fear having to see at the starting line?  Why?  There is not really any one that I fear the most and would say that fear is the wrong word. Each person brings something different to the line and if you don't know what it is you could be in trouble .

What would you tell someone looking to start out in the heads-up racing scene?  Do not lose sight of why you started racing ( for the excitment ) some time you can get caught up with the need to win that you forsake everything else.

Very briefly, tell me the dumbest mistake you've ever made at the race track?  Flooding the car and being DQ'd on a bye run in Bristol because I could not break the beams or when I had the race won looked around for the other car and decided to lift and coast because I could not see the other guy only to give up the win as Brian Mitchell ran past me at the 1200 foot mark!!!  I've made more mistakes but I will let it go with that

Anyone you’d like to thank, wives you HAVE to thank, other things not mentioned you feel are important?  This list could go on forever but my wife, Christy, will be the one that needs this line all by her self THANKS

What music do you listen to?  Who’s your favorite?  Anything

Any nick names for you?  Pillow..

Do you have any pets?  No, I have no time for pets.

Do you have Kids?  Yes, I have a 16 month old named Lance. He is great and loves to stand in my seat and drive the car in and out of the trailer.

What do you like to do as a hobby outside of drag racing?  I play a couple of different sports - baseball, football, ect...

What track do you dislike the most?  Orlando Speedworld and Epping, New Hampshire

Which is your favorite track to race on?  Ennis Texas, the track is so big it kinda makes you feel like you are a Pro.

Do you have a lucky charm?  What is it?  None

If you could meet anybody you wanted living or not who would it be?  Why?  I can't think of anyone..
