How did you get your start? Street racing
What’s been the biggest challenge to your racing program this season? Compared to last season? More power, more parts breakage,
stupid mistakes, new blower combination
What would you consider your biggest accomplishments as a racer?
I like to think we go out to every race with the intent to win and do
whatever it takes to get the car to the lanes and put on a show for
the fans.
What’s gotten you hooked on the Mustang drag racing scene?
Good Competition
What are your plans for the future? To run FFW, WFC, and
Outlaw 10.5 events
What changes, if any, do you feel the sanctioning bodies need to make
in order for our sport to prosper? Get the rules closer so
that racers can race their cars in different sanctioning bodies,
weight limits are too heavy, cars need to be lighter in the 10.5" tire
classes.
Who are your biggest friends (or enemies) at the track?
No enemies! I like to hang out with Chip and Viviane Haveman,
Sammy Rodriquez, John Urist, and The Lynch Mob. All of the guys
in Outlaw get along real well.
Who do you fear having to see at the starting line? Why?
Anyone in the other lane! Never under-estimate your opponent and
run your car the same way every time. Don't change your routine.
What would you tell someone looking to start out in the heads-up
racing scene? Start out slow, get some experience first.
Don't jump into a 7 second car just because you can afford it.
Very briefly, tell me the dumbest
mistake you've ever made at the race track? Staged with the
rear tires first time at the track

it is always slick
