Questions

How long have you been drag racing?    About 8 years

How did you get your start?  Test and Tune on Friday nights at Raceway Park, got hooked and never looked back

What’s been the biggest challenge to your racing program this season?  Compared to last season?  Being that the car made more power this year than last trying to again find the right spot to leave with the car so as not to spin, was consistent last year underpowered but now is much different and still trying to figure it out.

What would you consider your biggest accomplishments as a racer?  Finishing 8th in points in 2002 NMRA Drag Radial points in my rookie year

What’s gotten you hooked on the Mustang drag racing scene?  The cars, the racers, the fans, they are all great reasons to race and stay racing.

What are your plans for the future?  test, test, test, and did I say test????

What changes, if any, do you feel the sanctioning bodies need to make in order for our sport to prosper?  None, I feel that racers have two fine choices of sanctioning bodies to choose from with the rules the way they are.

Who are your biggest friends (or enemies) at the track?  No enemies, except for myself sometimes!!!

Who do you fear having to see at the starting line?  Why?  No one

What would you tell someone looking to start out in the heads-up racing scene?  Make sure you know how fast you wanna go and what class you wanna run and stick to it!!!

Very briefly, tell me the dumbest mistake you've ever made at the race track?  Can't think of any...I'm sure something will happen someday soon!

Anyone you’d like to thank, wives you HAVE to thank, other things not mentioned you feel are important?  I'd just like to thank my family for understanding when I have to go race being that we all work for the family business and it is tough to find the time off.  Louie and Joe at Precision Racecars for helping make this car a reality.

What music do you listen to?  Who’s your favorite?  Creed, Metallica, Korn, etc, don't really have a favorite

Any nick names for you?  Turbo Ty, and Topfuel Ty, Job Spetter jr gave me the latter name due to me inadvertently smoking the tires past the sixty foot markers in my first race at the Motorsport Nationals 2002 in the second round of eliminations.

Do you have any pets?  Two Dogs

Do you have Kids?  No

What do you like to do as a hobby outside of drag racing?  Not much, racing takes up most of the spare time, Unless work can be a hobby???

What track do you dislike the most?  Haven't found one I didn't like yet

Which is your favorite track to race on?  I love racing at Gateway International Raceway in St Louis

Do you have a lucky charm?  What is it?  No, maybe I need one!

If you could meet anybody you wanted living or not who would it be?  Why?  Don't know..
