Wednesday was a badass night. Had a friendly grudge match with another one of our friend's cars last night and that sucker put on a show. It was a funfilled exciting night for both cars and I can say was the most fun I've had at the track in a LONG LONG time. After going to the track and breakin a tranny or slipping a clutch....The blue coupe ran as perfect as we could ask for. As for the match up of the night.....

The Mineral Grey Coupe and the Blue coupe it was a battle of Automatic vs. 5spd, EFI vs. Carb, Big tire vs. Little tire, Big Cubes vs. Small Cube.......and the Blue Coupe won when the Mineral coupe red-lites but the Mineral Coupe puts on a show by putting it on the bumper and carries the wheels enough so that I had to change the zoom on my camera as Jason is tryin to chase him down....

Then in the next test pass the Blue Coupe runs a new best 9.58 @141. The car is ON and has 9.62, 9.64, 9.58, and 9.69 and the best part was driving it on the trailor and everbody has a smile on thier face. As for Wonderbread the track officials are probably still lookin for him as he owe's them some new 1/4 time boxes...must of been fun goin down the middle of the track at 141

that looks like my all time favorite track, San Antonio Raceway. Ill have to run one of you guys for fun some time. Cars look good!

26x10 and 3.73 gears

The tranny was just updated by Liberty and is now in a G-Force case. It was helical cut-synchro but it would break the synchro teeth off the input shaft so my dad sent it to Liberty and it's now dog-ring. He went 9.60 @138 with the standard helical cut synchro version before-hand. It's got a RAM 900 in there

Anything special done to the gears to make them stronger? I just broke my GForce, and I'm not that fast, but that video gives me hope that mine was just a fluke.

How high does he shift?

Nothing special done to them, and yes we've broken it before. Once to due to 28's and a SPEC V clutch and the other was due to case flex. Hopefully this new case will eliminate that. The rev-limiter is set at 6,800 and he's using every bit of that. We are going to drop to 3.55 I just hope it doesn't hurt the ET.

Would like too go and check it out. As for the agenda we gotta get some new tires, put 3.55 in, new mufflers, and gonna try my Hogan upper intake. Unfortunately this isnt the best time of year to be tryin to run new best especially here in Texas.

Is pretty dang consistent isn't he? That 1-2 shift always sounds like a .45 going off.

So you had every gear faceplated? Could you share what they charged you to do it?

Yes, I wanna say that I remember my dad sayin $75 a gear. Yes he's extremely consistant, I guess that's why it was always rumored to be pro-shifted.
