C4 '03 Cobra goes 10.24 @ 130!
Hell........YES.......shes baaaaack!!!
went up to the rental today. it was hot and sunny. car weighed 3310 w/ me and the new tank. Temp was 72 and humidity was 76-79%. DA was 1000 to 1100 feet on the 3 runs.
off the trailer
1.400
6.493 @ 105.22!!!!
10.248 @ 130.30
hour later, added 1 click to rear shocks
1.408
6.511 @ 105.35
10.259 @ 130.95
took that click back out
1.416
6.517 @ 105.49
10.250 @ 131.25
could have made one more pass but decided to save it. prob would have went 10.25...lol
car feels good, everything seems to be working good. Now keep in mind last year, my 10.01 pass on the 100 shot, my 1/8 was 6.4x @ 107. I think the 60' has a tenny bit left in it like .02 or so which should get me low 10.20s / high 10.teens.
Im sooooo pumped!!

I wish i could! i had lockup before and now without it Im already going through the traps @ 6500-6600. no room unless i swap to 3.73s. i wan to go 9.99 on the current setup though.
trying the botle in 2 weeks at an 1/8 track. should be good for some 6.20s or even 6.10s

had ALOT of problems. rear u-joint let go at 130mph cracked the sfi bell. ran 6 passes and the case cracked. now back up and running. had a ton of downtime. anxious to run some events now!

Dave Williams (Fast Lane Classic Cars) and I were at the Mid West Team Shelby races in Tulsa last month and we saw one run at the Tulsa Drag strip. We are pooling money trying to buy one - Dave thinks he has one lined up. We'll see.

they are pretty cool cars. you cant beat a brand new car that runs 9s @ 140 and is all SFI / NHRA approved for $70k imo
